Thunderstorm alert issued for 11 Odisha places including twin cities

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre today issued thunderstorm warning for as many as 11 places of Odisha including the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.

The districts likely to experience moderate thunderstorm with gusty wind and lightning with light to moderate rainfall at one or two places are Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Nuapada, Nabarangpur, Kandhamal, Khurda including Bhubaneswar, Puri, Jagatsinghpur and Cuttack including Cuttack city, a bulletin of the Meteorological Centre said.

The weather condition is likely to prevail in these areas between 2.30 pm and 5.30 pm, the bulletin added.
