Thunderstorm and lightning likely in 15 Odisha districts tonight

Bhubaneswar: The Met Department has issued thunderstorm warning for 15 districts of Odisha.

As per the latest weather update, moderate thunderstorm and light rainfall will occur in parts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Nayagarh and Rayagada between 5 pm and 8 pm this evening.

These thunderstorms will also be accompanied by light rainfall and wind gusting at 40 kmph, according to the forecast of Regional Meteorological Centre.

Similarly, such weather conditions are likely in Angul, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Khordha and Puri between 5:45 pm and 8:45 pm tonight
