Thunderstorm, gusty wind likely in these Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha may experience thunderstorm and gusty surface wind today, the Regional Meteorological Centre here forecasted.

“Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Koraput, Rayagada, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Nayagarh and thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Kandhamal, Malkangiri and Dhenkanal, the Meteorological Centre predicted.

Temperature Forecast: No large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) at many places over the districts of Odisha during the next 5 days. It is likely to be 42℃ or more at a few places over some districts of interior Odisha (Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Boudh, Sonepur, Bargarh, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Jharsuguda and Nuapada).
