Thunderstorm, lightning likely in 8 Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre has issued thunderstorm alert for eight districts of Odisha today.

Parts of Angul, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Koraput, Rayagada and Sambalpur will experience moderate thunderstorm and lightning.

As per the latest weather bulletin, light to moderate rainfall and gusty wind at 40 kmph is also likely in these areas.

Such weather conditions are likely to prevail between 1:30 pm and 5:30 pm according to the prediction of the Met Department.
