Thunderstorm may occur in these Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha are likely to experience thunderstorm today, the Regional Meteorological Centre here forecasted.

“Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Bolangir, Gajapati, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar,” the Meteorological Centre predicted and issued Yellow Warning for these districts.

“Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Sonepur, Boudh, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Sundargarh, Angul and Dhenkanal,” it added.
