Thunderstorm warning for 14 Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar: The Indian Met Department has issued thunderstorm alert for 14 districts of Odisha today.

As per the latest weather bulletin, one or two areas of Angul, Kalahandi, Keonjhar, Koraput, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangpur and Sundergarh will experience moderate thunderstorm and lightning.

Furthermore, light rainfall and gusty wind at 40 kmph is also likely in these areas.

These weather conditions will prevail between 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm today, according to the predictions of weathermen.

Similarly, such moderate thunderstorm and lightning accompanied by light rainfall and gusty wind at 40 kmph may also occur in parts of Bolangir, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Nuapada and Rayagada between 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm, tonight.
