Top Maoist leader Siba Reddy arrested

Top Maoist leader Siba Reddy, an accused in 2001 Motu police station attack in Odisha, was arrested by Andhra Pradesh police from Ettapakur today.

At least 70 cases are registered against him in various police stations and he carries a cash reward of Rs 20 lakhs on his head.

He wanted rebel was apprehended by police while he was undergoing treatment in a hospital for an injury. He is the secretary of Khammam division of CPI (Maoists) in Andhra Pradesh. He was active in Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Telangana.
