Traffic Advisory issued in Odisha capital for Khandagiri-Udayagiri Mahotsav

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police has issued traffic advisory in the state capital for smooth flow of traffic during Khandagiri-Udayagiri Mahotsav and Magha-Saptami Mela that kicked off today. The restriction will be imposed from February  1 to February  16.

1. No vehicles will be allowed from Khandagiri square to Jayadev Vatika square and vice-versa. This will act as a “Pedestrian Only Zone”.
2. No vehicle must be parked on the NH or inside the “Pedestrian Only Zone”.
3. The following places have been designated for parking :-

• Vacant space in front of Hotel Kharavela extending till Khandagiri police station, adjacent to NH.
• In the by-lane along Sulabha Souchalaya (Infix. of Happy Kids International Pre-School).

The by-lane near Green Earth Nursery may further be utilized for parking of both two-wheelers and four-wheelers.

4. All trucks plying from Khordha towards Cuttack shall be diverted from Pitapalli towards Balikuda via Chandaka–Baranga. This shall be effective from 5 pm to 11 pm.
5. All trucks plying from Cuttack towards Khordha shall be diverted from Balikuda towards Pitapalli via Baranga-Chandaka. This shall be effective from 5 pm to 11 pm.
