Bhubaneswar: Solar energy-powered traffic lights in Odisha capital might stop functioning soon causing inconvenience for commuters.
The Twin City Commissionerate Police today informed that such traffic lights are running out of batteries as those couldn’t be recharged due to rainy weather conditions.
As per a traffic advisory tweeted by the Commissionerate Police, many traffic lights will be switched off from 10 pm to 8 am. Vehicle drivers have been advised to negotiate junctions carefully.
