Bhubaneswar: Trailer of the much-awaited sports drama ‘Rashmi Rocket’ is out. Actress Taapsee Pannu who plays the role of a Gujarati athlete called ‘Rashmi’ in the film undergoes gender test and on basis of the test reports, she was banned from participating in athletic events.

The movie has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Neha Anand and Pranjal Khandhdiya.

While Taapsee Pannu plays the role of a fast runner in ‘Rashmi Rocket’, Priyanshu Painyuli plays the role of her husband. Abhishek Banerjee plays the role of Taapsee’s lawyer and Supriya Pathak as her mother.

The story was written by Nanda Periyasamy, Aniruddha Guha and Kanika Dhillion.
