Under trial prisoner dies in Odisha

An under trial inmate of the sub-jail died of heart attack in Odisha’s Malkangiri district today while undergoing treatment.

The deceased has been identified as Krishna Goldar from MV-72.

According to reports, Krishna was admitted to Malkangiri District Headquarters Hospital this morning following cardiac arrest and later was declared dead by the doctor.

Kalimela police had forwarded him to court following his arrest on charges of negligent driving a fortnight ago at MPV-126 ghat in which at least seven school kids were injured.
