Tribal girl among two from Odisha shines at ICF Miss India-2020

Bhubaneswar: Bringing laurels to the state, two young girls, including a tribal from Odisha have been adjudged the first and second runner-ups, respectively and also won different subtitles at the recently-concluded India’s Charming Face (ICF),  Miss India 2020 held in Goa.

After qualifying at state level, six girls  from Odisha were selected for the national beauty pageant, that had two categories:  Miss India Global Universe and Miss India Tourism.

With hard work and passion, Babita Sabar from southern Odisha and Sasmita Panda from Jagatsinghpur were adjudged the First and Second runner-ups, respectively, in the Miss India Tourism category. Besides, Babita Sabar, a tribal  girl,  secured the  Miss intellectual subtitle while Sasmita Panda bagged Miss Graceful subtitle.

Sasmita Panda, who wants to be a successful actress, has many music videos to her credit. With dreams in her eyes, Sasmita confessed that this beauty pageant was a new experience for her and she is ready for her next steps.

Babita Sabar, a small town girl, has certainly set set an example for many others by becoming the first girl from Soura tribal community to have stepped into fashion industry. She aspires to be a super model one day.
