Rourkela: Aiming to increase efficiency of the students pursuing studies in tribal languages, Odisha government is all set to publish five trilingual and bilingual dictionaries very soon.
By approval of the expert committee, the dictionary will be composed in 21 tribal languages by end of August, official source said.
The dictionaries will be distributed to the tribal schools and libraries in the tribal districts after publication by October this year following getting nod from special development councils of nine tribal districts, he said.
The decision came at a meeting chaired by ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Minister Ramesh Chandra Majhi at Directorate of SC & ST Research and Training Institute.
