Tribal woman arrested for bobbitising husband in Odisha

Jashipur, Aug 2:
A newly-married woman has been arrested for allegedly bobbitising her husband with a blade in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.

According to reports, Pradip Majhi (30) of Bainshali Nai village under Jashipur Block in the district had a heated argument with her wife Khuri Soren alias Khusi over a family disturbance on July 30.
Following the altercation, Khusi allegedly bobbitised her husband in a fit of rage.
He was rushed to Jashipur hospital in a critical condition and later shifted to Karanjia PHC as his condition deteriorated.
Jashipur police have arrested Khuri based on a complaint by Pradip on July 31.
Notably, the duo had tied the knot two months earlier.
