Tweeples defend Sushant Singh Rajput’s sisters. Here’s why

Bhubaneswar:  Tweeples who are still waiting for a final verdict from the CBI in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case have today raised voices again defending the late actor’s sisters with the hashtag ‘Quash FIR On SSR Sisters’.

Over 54k tweets have been made with this hashtag by the time of filing of this report and the numbers are still adding up.

Responding to model-turned-actress and Sushant’s girlfriend Riya Chakraborty’s FIR against the late actor’s sisters Meetu Singh and Priyanka Singh, his fans took to the microblogging site and posted several pictures of Sushant with his sisters and talked about their ‘beautiful and strong bond’.  One user also posted a hand-written note of Sushant where he had addressed one of his sisters as ‘the deserving keeper of his mother’s light.’

CBI themselves said that the FIR filed by Rhea was in bad taste.

It is pertinent to mention here that earlier CBI had stated that the Riya’s FIR against Sushant’s sisters was ‘vitiated and bad in law’ and mostly speculative in nature and thus, could not be made the basis of an FIR.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14 last year. The case that was immediately declared a case of suicide by Mumbai police gradually unraveled several controversial aspects after which the late actor’s family and fans demanded a CBI probe into the matter stressing that he was strangulated to death.
