Twenty six more Chilika Fresh outlets in Odisha capital soon

Odisha government today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for opening of 26 more Chilika Fresh outlets in the capital city.

Odisha inks pact to open centre for Odia studies at JNU

Odisha State Fishermen Cooperative Federation (FISHFED) inked the agreement with Falcon Marine Exports Ltd to set up the outlets here. The agreement will be in force for 15 years.

For this, the marine products export company would have to pay Rs 61.92 lakh annually to the state government. Besides, the lease amount would increase 2% every year.

This apart, Falcon Marine Exports Ltd also signed an agreement for shrimp farming in Kendrapada district.

State Agriculture, Fisheries & Animal Resources Minister Pradeep Maharathy, Commissioner-cum- Secretary, Fisheries & ARD, Bishnupada Sethi, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena, MLAs Bijay Mohanty and Priyadarshi Mishra were present on the occasion.
