Two airlines cancel flights from Bhubaneswar airport, here’s why

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of resumption of flight services from Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar from tomorrow, two airlines cancelled their Bhubaneswar-Kolkata flights for three days from May 25.

Official sources said Alliance Air and SpiceJet Airlines cancelled its flights for Kolkata from Bhubaneswar from May 25 to 27.

Meanwhile, Spicejet’s Hyderabad and Delhi Flights to Bhubaneswar are operating from May 25 as of now.

The sources said both the airlines cancelled the flights from Bhubaneswar-Kolkata due to the recent damages done by Cyclone Amphan at the Kolkata Airport.
