Two die, 2 critical after consuming mango kernel in Odisha’s Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur: In a tragic incident, two women of a family died and two other members fell critically ill after consuming mango kernel at Maina Padar village under Jharigaon block of Odisha’s Nabarangpur district today.

The deceased have been identified as Sudhamani Santa and Namita Santa. Those who fell sick have been admitted to the district headquarters hospital and are undergoing treatment.

According to reports, the deceased and the victims had consumed mango kernel along with millet, following which they complained of loose motion and vomiting.

While Namita died at the house, Sudhamani breathed her last while being treated at hospital.
