Two express trains with jerk-free coaches from this month in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Replacing the conventional coaches for the long route trains, the Indian Railways has decided to run two express trains with Linke-Hofmann-Busch (LHB) coaches to provide comfortable and jerk-free travel to the passengers from this month in Odisha.

The LHB coaches will be fitted to the Bhubaneswar-Puducherry-Bhubaneswar and Bhubaneswar-Rameswaram-Bhubaneswar Express.

While the Bhubaneswar-Puducherry-Bhubaneswar Express will run with the improved designed coaches from April 16, the Bhubaneswar-Rameswaram-Bhubaneswar Express with LHB coaches will run from April 19, informed the East Coast Railway.

Official source said that the new coaches will replace the conventional coaches and will increase the total capacity of berths.

The LHB coaches are safer, lighter, more comfortable and jerk-free. The coaches will not flip in case of collision, he said.
