Two foetuses found dumped in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar, Feb 7:
Two five-month-old foetuses were found dumped inside a drain between Biju Patnaik College and Hotel Mayfair in the Odisha capital this afternoon.

Passersby noticed the foetuses in the drain and informed the police, who rushed to the spot and took it to the Capital Hospital for autopsy.
Police have filed a U/D (unnatural death) case and started investigation.
“We have registered a UD case. If any person or organization files a complaint, we would register a case against unidentified women under section 318 (concealment of birth by secret disposal of dead body) of IPC,” said an official of Nayapalli police station.
