Two go missing while taking bath in Odisha river

Cuttack, Aug 24:
Two persons went missing while taking bath in the Mahanadi river in the Cuttack city in Odisha this morning.

According to reports, two persons, who had gone for a bath in the river at Gandhipalli ghat here, slipped into the deep waters and were swept away by the river current.
Locals, present at the ghat, tried their best to rescue the duo but failed.
Following information, a fire brigade team rushed to the spot.
Identity of the two missing persons is not yet known.
The search operations were on till reports last came in.
