Two little girls crushed under wheels while sleeping under flyover in Odisha

Dhenkanal: Two little sisters were crushed under the wheels of a pickup van when they were sleeping under a flyover at Baji Chowk in Dhenkanal town this afternoon.  Another sibling of the duo sustained grievous injuries in the mishap.

The deceased two have been identified as Saina Sabar and Suhana Sabar.

Reportedly, Santosh Sabar, a resident of Bihar, stays with his family under the breeze. Tragedy struck him when his two minor daughters were mowed down by a pickup van when they were in deep sleep at around 2 PM today. His another child identified as Pami Sabar, who was having food at  that time, was also hit by the vehicle.  While Saina and Suhana died on the spot, Pami was rushed to a hospital here in critical condition.

Meanwhile, driver of the vehicle fled the spot following the mishap. On receiving information, the Town police reached the spot and initiated an inquiry into the incident.
