Two minor boys electrocuted to death while catching bird in Odisha’s Malkangiri

Malkangiri: In a tragic incident, two minor boys were electrocuted to death while trying to catch a bird at Undrukonda village under Kalimela police limits in Odisha’s Malkangiri district, today.

The deceased were identified as Chandan Padiami (7) and Manga Madhipuri (11) of the village.

According to reports, the two friends had climbed a tree to catch the bird, during which they came in contact with an 11 KV electric wire. Subsequently, both fell down from the tree.

They were rescued by family members and rushed to the Kalimela Hospital, where doctors declared them dead.

A pall of gloom descended on the locality after the incident.
