Two minor girls drown in well in Odisha’s Angul

Angul: Tragedy struck Aalori village under Khamara police limits in Angul district when two minor girls aged below five years died after falling into a well in the locality today.

The deceased have been identified as Pallabi Kishan (4) and Lovely Kishan (3).

Sources said the three kids were returning to their houses at Arjunjhari Sahi from an Anganwadi centre in the village this afternoon. However, Pallabi and Lovely accidentally fell into an open well midway. Another kid, who was accompanying the two, immediately rushed to the village and informed the locals, who rescued the two girls and admitted them to hospital. However, doctors declared them dead.
