New Delhi: Aspirants of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) can appear for two more engineering papers from next year. This was announce by Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank today.
As per the decision taken by the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, the two papers – Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, and Geomatics Engineering – will be added to GATE 2022.
Also, the Education Minister announced the IIT-Kharagpur will conduct the post-graduate engineering entrance exam in 2022.
GATE is a computer-based multiple-choice question-based exam. Those who clear GATE are eligible to take admission to M.Tech courses at IITs as well as become eligible for jobs in PSUs.
