Two more swine flu patients identified in Odisha

The numbers of swine flu patients in Odisha has gone up to 36 with two more patients tested positive on Thursday.

swine flu virusThe two male patients belong to Kandhamal district and Rourkela in Sundargarh district.

As per reports from Public Health department, six swab samples were sent for test to Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) on Thursday of which two were tested positive.

So far, out of 183 swab tests, at RMRC, 36 cases have been tested positive.

The swine flu death toll in the state stands at five so far.

While the government claims to have taken precautionary measures, gradual rise in the number of new patients speaks volume of its remedial measures to curb the outbreak of the disease.
