Two Odisha youths robbed of cash, valuables after consuming ‘intoxicant’ tea

Bhubaneswar: Two youths were robbed of cash and other valuables after allegedly consuming intoxicant tea outside the railway station at Master Canteen here on Sunday.

The victims were identified as Hariram Das from Balasore district and Rajkishore Nayak of Keonjhar district.

They were found lying unconscious in front of the Bhubaneswar Railway Station on Sunday. Later, they were admitted to the Capital Hospital.

Hariram and Rajkishore are working in a private firm in Mumbai. They were allegedly targeted by the looters after they reached the Bhubaneswar Railway Station by train on Sunday morning.

According to reports, two unidentified youths made friendship with Hariram and Rajkishore after they arrived in the station. They were offered tea by the youths. After they consumed the tea, they became unconscious following which the youths looted their bags, mobile phones, approximately Rs 2000 cash from the victims.

The victims were taken to the Capital Hospital by the PCR van for treatment.
