Two staff of Odisha’s Acharya Harihar cancer hospital test COVID-19 positive

Cuttack: Two corona warriors at Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre tested positive for the deadly COVID-19 today. The cancer hospital’s Director Lalatendu Sarangi informed two of nurses including a woman contracted the virus.

Four days back, a cancer patient of the hospital from Ganjam district had tested positive for the virus. Following this, the hospital authorities had sent samples of 52 of its employees, who came in contact with the COVID-19 positive cancer patient, for tests.

As per the reports received today, expect the two nurses, samples of 50 employees tested negative for the virus.

The cancer hospital Director further said the two nurses have been admitted to the COVID-19 hospital in Cuttack.
