Undertrial prisoner dies at Jharpada jail in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: An undertrial prisoner (UTP) lodged at Jharpada jail here died today due to health complications.

The deceased identified as Rabi Dulla was arrested in connection with a loot at an armory in Nayagarh district.  He was also accused in crimes like looting weapons after torching police station, murder and explosion. Dulla was also arrested for his alleged links with Maoists.

However, jail authorities were not available to comment about his death.
