Union min launches BS-IV grade fuel in Odisha capital

Union Petroleum & Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today launched the BS-IV grade fuel distribution in 12 cities of India through video conferencing in Odisha capital on the occasion of Utkal Dibasa.

Speaking on the occasion, Pradhan termed the initiative as the beginning of new era to reduce environment pollution.

“Centre has started a new era in pure transport fuels, which will be beneficial for people across the country and will help reducing environment pollution”, he said.

Taking to microblogging site, he said, “Country-wide Launch of BS-IV Grade fuels at Bhubaneswar is a historic moment magnifying the glory of #UtkalaDibasa & Pride of Odisha”.

“Migration to BS-IV Fuels shows India’s resolve under the leadership of Hon’ble PM to cut down emissions in a voluntary commitment to @COP21”, he tweeted.
