Utkal University’s new VC assumes office

Bhubaneswar: Soumendra Mohan Patnaik, who was appointed as the new vice-chancellor (VC) of the Utkal University in Odisha capital, assumed office today.

Patnaik was warmly welcomed by teachers and employees of the varsity.

He has taken over professor Ashok Das as the VC.

Prior to this post, Patnaik was working as Anthropology professor in Delhi University.
