Vendors now to display COVID vaccination certificate before shops in Ganjam

Berhampur: As part of its preventive measures against COVID-19, Ganjam district administration today advised all shopkeepers, vendors and other retailers to display their vaccination certificate in front of their shops.

Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange said the initiative will be helpful in checking transmission of the deadly virus and create confidence among customers. He further cautioned that enforcement will keep a strict vigil on implementation of the order.

We request to all shopkeepers, vendors & other professionals to display COVID vaccination certificate (single/final dose) in front of shop.
It will create confidence among customers & helpful to stop infections.
It will be checked by enforcement team along with Panchsutra.

It is pertinent to mention here that Ganjam has been earning praises from different quarters for its effective COVID-19 management model.

Last month, the district administration made COVID-19 test (Rapid Antigen) mandatory for bride, groom, their family members and other participants before the marriage.
