Vigilance raids Odisha Tourism Corp official

Bhubaneswar, May 8:

A team of Vigilance officials of Khordha division today raided the residence and the office of the financial controller of Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) in the city.

Vigilance officials said they raided the residence of Pranab Kumar Chand in Chakeisiani and seized household articles worth around Rs 3.5 lakh. Pranab’s residence at Jagannath Vihar area here was also raided, the officials added.

“Several documents of fixed deposits and registration document of a flat in Puri were seized from Chand’s chamber in OTDC office,” vigilance department officials said.

Chand also has another property worth about Rs 20 lakh in the city. He has a bank balance of Rs 8 lakh, vigilance department sources added.
