Phulbani, Feb 20:
Protesting the apathy of the police in arresting the accused in the murder of Debasis Sahu, a student of KBHIST +2 Science College, the people of eight gram panchayats staged a road blockade at Tilakpada Chhak on the Phulbani-Brahampur road this morning disrupting vehicular traffic for several hours.

Members of Kaladi Kalashree Yuvak Parishad also participated in the road blockade.
Senior police officials have rushed to the spot and are making efforts to persuade the protestors to withdraw the blockade.
Local police claimed to have arrested four accused in connection with the murder on the night on February 8.
“The arrested, identified as Binod Bisoi, Subrat Behera, Sanjib Mallick and Anil Behera would be forwarded to the court today”, Phulbani SDPO Pravat Chandra Panigrahi told OST.
