Viral sex video in Odisha: Shocking revelations by girl in her statement

Bhubaneswar: While the viral sex video featuring two students of a premier engineering college in Odisha capital has become the talk of the town, the girl’s statement before the police will certainly lead to raising of many eyebrows.

As per the statement, a copy of which is in possession of OST, she met Aditya Raj in June/July, 2015 and both fell in love with each other.

On the 28th of last month, she came to know about a video going viral which contained sexually explicit content featuring Aditya and her. She later managed to know that the video was recorded in January, 2016 at the house of Aditya’s friend.

The girl has also said in the statement that she thinks Aditya recorded the video without her knowledge.

The girl further added in the statement that she stopped meeting Aditya two months ago after knowing that he consumes drugs. In order to defame her and her family, he might have circulated the video on Whatsapp and the Internet in a fit of rage, the girl said.

The video has also been uploaded on a porn website, she said in her statement.

According to reports, Aditya has confessed before police that both were in a relationship and the video was recorded with mutual consent. However, the video was transferred to other devices without their knowledge, he told police, adding that the clip was in possession of both.

Aditya also told police that the video was saved in his mobile phone which he used earlier and might have got leaked while he had given the device for repairing, reports said.

Notably, Aditya has been arrested after a case was registered at the Khandagiri police station. He was produced before court and sent to judicial custody in Jharpada jail here after his bail plea was rejected.

Aditya, a fourth year B.Tech student hailing from Ranchi, was earlier detained by police for his alleged involvement in circulating the sex video on WhatsApp.

The video, which was recorded on selfie mode, contains sexually explicit content featuring Aditya and his girlfriend studying in the same city-based private engineering college.
