[Watch] Python that swallowed goat rescued by villagers in Odisha

Nuapada: A giant python was rescued after swallowing a goat at a forest under Boden block in Odisha’s Nuapada district yesterday.

The locals of Jubarajpur village in Farsara panchayat found the snake rolling on the ground with heavy stomach in the morning on Friday.

According to reports, some cattle grazers had been to a nearby forest, where they were shocked to see an incident. They spotted a giant python hunting a goat and swallowing it.

The brave villagers later rescued the snake and released it into the forest.

They requested the administration to shift the python to Sunabeda Wildlife Sanctuary for safety of their animals.
