[WATCH] Three bears spotted inside school campus in Odisha

Malkangiri: Residents of Govindapalli village in Malkangiri district are in a state of panic after three bears were spotted in the area last night.

The CCTV cameras installed at the Govindapalli High School have captured the entry of the three bears including two cubs. When the school students chased, the wild animals jumped the school main gate and moved out of its premises.

A school staff said, “We examined the CCTV cameras and found that the bears entered the premises and ran away when students chased them.”

The Forest Ranger has been informed about the incident this morning. He has assured that Forest staff will visit the school this evening. “Earlier also we had informed the Forest Ranger about the straying of wild animals. I have told the higher-ups about the matter as well,” the school staff added.
