[WATCH] Villagers rescue five baby bears on outskirts of Odisha Capital

Khordha: Villagers in Pitapalli area on outskirts of Odisha Capital were amazed to find five bear cubs playing on roadside today morning.

Within few minutes, hundreds of locals gathered at the spot to see the playful cubs. Some even offered bananas to the baby bears who cheerfully feast on the fruit.

Unable to find the mummy bear after a search for few hours, the locals informed the Chandaka police station. The five cubs were then rescued by the police personnel and sent to the OUAT for health check-up.

Sources said the baby cubs will be later taken to the Nandankanan zoo.
