Weather alert! These Odisha dists to experience thunderstorm today

Bhubaneswar: Intense rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning likely to lash as many as 12 districts of the state today.

“Thunderstorm and lightning will occur in districts like Angul, Balasore, Bhadrak, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Jagatsingpur, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur and Sundergarh. Intense rainfall with gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph is also likely in one or two places of these districts.” As per the latest bulletin issued by the regional Meteorological Centre here.

Such weather condition is likely to prevail between 06:30 pm to 09:30 pm today, the weathermen added.
