Weather alert: Three Odisha districts to experience thundersquall

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre here issued thundersquall alert for three districts in Odisha today.

As per the latest bulletin issued by the Met Department, thundersquall accompanied with hail, gusty wind and moderate rainfall will occur at one or two places in Jajpur,Kendrapara and Bhadrak districts today.

Thunderstorm with surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph and gusting to 60 kmph at one or two places of these districts and light to moderate rain over some parts of these areas are likely to occur between 4.45 pm and 6.45 pm today, a release of the meteorological centre said.
