Weather Alert: Thundershower, lightning in 15 Odisha districts this evening

Bhubaneswar: Moderate thunderstorm and lightning likely to lash as many as 15 districts of Odisha today.

As per the latest bulletin issued by the regional Meteorological Centre here, thunderstorm and lightning will occur in districts like Angul, Boudh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Bargarh, Balangir and Kandhamal. Spells of heavy rainfall is also likely in one or two places of these districts.

Such weather condition is likely to prevail between 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm today, the weather men added.

Whereas, spells of rainfall to continue in districts of  Khurda including Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Koraput and Rayagada till 6:30 pm today.
