Weather Alert: Thunderstorm, lightning in 6 Odisha districts in next 3 hrs

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Regional Centre here today cautioned that rain accompanied with lightning will occur in some parts of six districts in next three hours.

As per the latest bulletin issued by the MeT Centre,  light  to moderate thunderstorm with lightning and light  to moderate rain is likely to affect some parts of the district of Angul, Dhenkanal, Kendrapada, Jagatsingpur, Kandhamal and Puri  within next  three hours.

In view of this, the weathermen advised people of these districts to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strike.
