Weather Alert: Thunderstorm likely in 7 Odisha districts today
Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre here issued thunderstorm and lightning alert for seven districts in the state today.
As per the latest bulletin, thunderstorm and lightning are likely to occur in parts of Nayagarh, Kalahandi, Balangir, Nuapada,Bargarh,Sonepur and Boudh. Besides, the MeT Centre predicted light to moderate rainfall and gusty wind with speed reaching at 30-40 kmph in the areas.

Such weather condition is likely to prevail in the district between 8am and 12 noon, the weathermen said.
