Weather alert: Thunderstorm likely in these Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar: Many districts of Odisha are likely to experience thunderstorm with lightning today, the Regional Meteorological Centre forecasted.

Thunderstorm with lightning and hail accompanied with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar, a bulletin of the Meteorological Centre said.

Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Khurda and Nayagarh, it added.
