Weather Alert! Thunderstorm, rainfall warning issued for 18 Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: Intense rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning likely to lash as many as 18 districts of the state today.

“Thunderstorm and lightning with light to moderate rainfall is also likely in one or two places of Angul, Balasore, Baragarh, Bhadrak, Cuttack (Including Cuttack city), Dhenkanal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Jharsuguda, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Khordha (including Bhubaneswar), Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh, Puri, Sambalpur and Sundergarh districts.” As per the latest bulletin issued by the regional Meteorological Centre here.

Such weather condition is likely to prevail between 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm today, the weathermen added.
