Weather alert: Thunderstorm to lash these Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorm accompanied with rain is likely to lash as many as eight districts across the state today.

As per the latest bulletin issued by the regional Met centre here, moderate thunderstorm along with light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places in districts like Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Rayagada, Koraput and Kandhamal till 5.30 pm today.

Besides, gusty wind with speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph is likely to prevail in these areas, the weathermen added.
