Weather Update: Rain & lightning in many parts of Odisha, including Twin City today

Bhubaneswar: The Regional MeT Centre here predicted rain and lightning in several parts of the state including the Twin City of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack today.

As per the latest bulletin issued by the weathermen, light  to moderate thunderstorm with lightning and light  to moderate rain is likely to occur in some parts over the districts of  Khordha (Including Bhubaneswar city), Cuttack (including Cuttack city) and likely to continue over some parts of the districts of  Ganjam, Nuapada, Sambalpur, Kandhamal, Raygada, Gajapati, Koraput, Malkangiri, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsingpur, Puri and Nayagarh district within next three hours.

The MeT Centre advised people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strike.
