Weather update: Thunderstorm and lightning likely in these Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Department predicted that some parts of the coastal state will experience thunderstorm and rainfall.

According to the latest weather bulletin, moderate thunderstorm and lightning will lash parts of Gajapati,Ganjam, Kandhamal, Koraput and Rayagada today.

This weather condition will prevail between 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm and will be accompanied by light to moderate rainfall.

Moreover, the weathermen also forecast surface winds gusting at a speed of 40 kmph for the above areas.

Parts of Balasore, Bhadrak and Mayurbhanj experienced such thunderstorms earlier today.
