Wife held for killing husband in Odisha

Police on Thursday arrested a 65-year-old woman of Khampur village under Talsara police station in Odisha’s Sundargarh district for killing her husband and forwarded her to the court.

During the quarrel, Sukru lost his temper and slapped her. Enraged, Fulmani attacked him with a paniki ((vegetable cutter) on his head, ear and nose and right elbow killing him on the spot.

Following complaint lodged by ward member of Khampur on Thursday, Talsara police, led by IIC AK Giri went to the village and arrested Fulmani and seized the vegetable cutter.

Police later forwarded the woman to the court in the afternoon.
