Bhubaneswar: Withdrawal of southwest monsoon from some parts of Odisha is likely to occur during the next 24 hours, the Regional Meteorological Centre forecasted today.
“Conditions are becoming favourable for further withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from some parts of Odisha during next 24 hours,” it said.
The monsoon is likely to bid farewell to the entire state during the subsequent two days.
On the other hand, a fresh low pressure area is likely to form over east-central Bay of Bengal and adjoining north Andaman Sea around October 29. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) is yet to forecast about its further movement and intensity.
